Lot #144 1799. B-18; BB-154

Description:

1799. B-18; BB-154. PCGS Genuine, Cleaned-XF Detail. Attractive light toning and this is the intriguing later die state with the heavy die crack extending like a spear from the left edge of the reverse die between ED of UNTED to the eagle's chest, the crack just touching the shield at the upper left point and seemingly into the chest of the eagle. Other fine die cracks are seen in the legends. Pleasing quality overall for this scarcer 1799 dated die pairing in high technical grade. A coin with a lot to offer any collector despite its minor cleaning in the past (PCGS # 40046) Estimated Value $1,300 - UP
The Highland Estate.
