Victorian 14K Yellow Gold, Old European Cut Diamond and Enamel Locket with Matching Earrings. Traditionally Victorian locket 14K yellow gold with a lock of hair inset under the glass panel on verso. Locket is 14K yellow gold and is centered with a very fine .25 carat Old European cut diamond, probably H color SI-1-2. Surrounding the diamond is a recessed scalloped background giving the locket fantastic contrast. Locket can be worn as a pin or pendant necklace. Perfectly matching, 14K yellow gold earrings mirror the locket, the blue enamel and diamond. Locket is 1.5 x 1.5 and weighs .551 ozt. or 17.4 grams. Earrings dangle 1.5" and weigh .240 ozt or 7.48 grams. Excellent condition overall especially given their 125 plus years in age. We do note a hairline crack in the glass, integrity does not appear compromised. Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,600
