Informative yes, but with an optimism of discovery that is palpable. Some are extremely well done handbooks and large brochures. Many very hard to find. "Experiences in Space Science-1966" This might be the best of the 1960's publications as this book outlines with pencil sketch illustrations simple equipment experiences for the purpose of obtaining revisions by NASA staffers prior to full publication.
