Description:

Exceptional Mold-Blown Unguentarium with a Twist Pattern on Body and Neck Finished with a Raised Base. Very striking mold-blown unguentarium of heavy glass with spiral shaped lines atop the bulbous body that continues spiraling around the neck. The base is slightly raised, with the lip fashioned into a serrated like trim. A lot of craftsmanship went into creating this flask. Unguentarium measures 9 x 6 cm and is heavily covered in encrustation with slight, scattered iridescence. Condition: a single crack dislodged an area about the size of a quarter and has been expertly repaired into place leaving this wonderful piece intact which displays beautifully.
