Heavily Encrusted Glass Blown Balsarium with Interesting Details Hidden Underneath Crust. Appealing, globular, glass blown balsarium completely encrusted in brownish black, with no iridescence. But in handling the flask for measurements flaking revealed two round dimples in the glass. Then three more dimples were revealed. We can only assume this detailing is consistent surrounding the bottle however the encrustation gets increasingly thicker and we hesitate to go further. Balsarium is 8.5 x 7 mm with no visible, cracks chips or repairs. Estimated Value $300 - 400
