Large, Elongated and Tapered, Tall-Necked Unguentarium, 2nd-3rd Century CE with Half Having Striking Iridescence. Large, visually appealing unguentarium with a very stout tapered neck and iridescence covering about half the body. These flasks were commonly used for ointments, oils and perfumes and indeed, it remains remarkable these pieces survived thousands of years. Bottle is 15 cm tall the talles in this auction, with no cracks, chips or repairs. Estimated Value $250 - 400
