Millvina Dean 6 Postcards Autographed, Youngest Survivor of the Titanic plus a Piece of Coal Salvaged from the Ship with COA (1912-2009) British civil servant and cartographer during WWII. Millvina Dean's larger fame came later in life while in her 70's participating in Titanic related events as she was the youngest and last survivor of the tragedy. She refused to see James Cameron's TITANIC as the film A NIGHT TO REMEMBER upset her greatly because she simply was too close to the loss that so many families suffered. Dean's family wasn't even suppose to be on the ship but were transferred with other families on board in 3rd class accommodations due to a coal strike. Her father heard the collision, went to the top deck and got his family dressed. His wife and children survived, he did not nor was his body recovered. In her later life she sold ephemera her mother had collected to fund her medical care. Cameron, DiCaprio, Winslet contributed $50,000 to her care.
