Queen Henrietta Maria: Autograph Letter Signed While Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland from her marriage to King Charles I. Dated 1644 (1609-1669) Queen Henrietta Maria of France. She was known as Queen Mary but disliked the name and signed her letters Henriette Marie as she has done in this autograph letter signed. She was never crowned queen being a Roman Catholic but very involved with the politics of her husband/king Charles I until his execution in 1649. Letter is dated 1644 with remnants of two small wax seals. In French, with letter measuring 8 x 6" and is in excellent condition given the years. Estimated Value $900 - 1,200
