Nuremberg War Crimes Trials Photos. Complete Set of 55, A Photo From Every Trial. Includes Original 4 Page Descriptions of Each Photo. Extremely scarce, complete set of Nuremberg War Crimes Trials Photos, 55 total, in their original box from Bild Buch Graphik. Also included is the original four page description of each photo. We found several examples of individual photos from this set for sale but could not locate a full set still in its original box. There are images of the Palace of Justice, the main courtroom, the war criminals, the US prosecutors including Robert H. Jackson, Thomas J. Dodd, Champtier de Ribes Chief French prosecutor, Sir Hartley Shawcross, British prosecutor and General Rudenko, the Russian prosecutor. Each photo is numbered beginning with 1901 on verso along with "For Archives Use Only Publication forbidden without written permission". Finally the studio's stamp is in lower right corner "Arbeitsgemeinschaft
Bild Buch Graphik, Nurnbert, Rietersstrage 14, Tel. 25036. Photos are in excellent condition with only slight evidence of handling with only the first photo having a slight fold to upper left corner. The box is nearly intact missing one panel and the cover box corners showing some distress and scrapes 3.5 x 4.75. An important archive for any level of collector or learning institution.
This collection of photos was given to Dr. Otto Reich, on of the many American military officers prosecuting the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials.
