Magnificent Celtic Armlets: 800 to 500 BC, Iron Age Hallstadt Celtic Period. Two Fine Examples in Choice Relic Condtion. Excellent example of a Celtic bronze armlet from the Hallstadt Celtic Period. Boasting a fine, well cast chevron design, these marks can be found all the way back to the rock engravings in the Megalithic tombs in the British Isles. This design is said to represent the movement of the Sun and Moon as it rises and sets. An event the Celts both watched and worshiped as the seasons changed each year. One comes with a COA dated 3/17/2000 by Tony Brady, Amergin. One is 2.5" in diameter and the other 2.75" in diameter. Estimated Value $200 - 400
