Lot #1844 Monumental Correia Vase Signed by the Artist: Pulled Feather Art Glass in Silver and Cobalt Blue, Retired 14.75" Tall

Description:

Monumental Correia Vase Signed by the Artist: Pulled Feather Art Glass in Silver and Cobalt Blue, Retired 14.75" Tall. Steven Correia founded Correia Art Glass in Santa Monica in 1973. His studio pieces enjoyed being represented by the best retailers including Neiman Marcus. This particular piece was acquired personally from Correia and it remains a spectacular and functional work. Standing 14.75" tall, this vase is heavy enough to handle a large bouquet, it dazzles as a show-stopping stand alone piece. The iridescence from the mirror like glass can be seen at great distance. Further a Correia vase of this height is very difficult to find. Truly a prize for any collector of American art glass. Estimated Value $400 - 600
