Six Large Russian Kiddush Cups, All 84 Silver Each Having Wonderful Engravings and Five with Expert Niello Inlays. Very fine collection of six Russian Imperial, beaker style, Kiddush cups in 84 silver, all from the late 19th century. Ranging from 4 x 3" to 3 x 2.25. Two are very much worth highlighting. The largest cup boasts spectacular engraving with no niello inlays given the expertise in creating shading in the cityscapes and the deeply etched foliate designs. Excellent condition save for a very slight undulation at rim. The second cup of note in museum condition with glorious foliate designs completely surrounding the beaker with no cartouche or cityscapes. The niello inlays are extremely well done making this cup a treasure.
The other four cups measure 3 x 2.5", one is in near pristine condition, the other three small compressions. 15 ozt.
