Eight (8) Medium Sized Kiddush Cups, All 84 Silver. One Especially Fine from St. Petersburg, 1888. Eight fine, medium sized Kiddush cups all having fine engravings in foliate designs some having roof tops and townscapes. Two stand out one having especially accomplished craftsmanship, the engraved background is so finely etched it appears machine brushed. The foliate patterns are set within a wide band forming elaborate scroll work. Assayer's mark B.C. over 1889, Moscow city mark with maker's mark for Israel Zakhoder. Superb piece. The 2nd highlight is a Kiddush cup made in St. Petersburg (very distinct city hallmark) 800 silver and year 1888. Cup is heavier than the other 7 with foliate designs in between two opposing Stars of David. Cups range from 2.5 x 2" to 3 x 2.25" all 8 weighing 12 ozt. Estimated Value $500 - 700
