Collection of Eight (8) Kiddush Cups of Various Sizes and Shapes, All 84 Silver, Mix of 19th and 20th Century One Especially Fine. Collection of Eight (8) Kiddush cups of various sizes, shapes and design. Two are most noteworthy. The tallest is an exceptionally well made stemmed cup with wonderful foliate designs engraved as well as a city tower. An engraved cartuche remains blank. The condition is superb with assayer mark dated 1882 84 silver no town mark. 5.5 x 2.5". The other is a stemmed goblet is 4.25 x 2.5" with Hebrew text likely part of the blessing "Creator of the vine". Likely 20th century and stamped 800 along rim of base and the name Hazchrim. The balance of the cups are of interest but have evidence of age with contusions and base compressions.
