Miniature Sephardic Mahzor (Festival Prayer Book), Amsterdam, 1712. Small-format Mahzor for the Three Festivals according to the Sephardic rite, printed in Amsterdam in 1712 by Shlomo Katz Proops, one of the most important early Hebrew printers in the Netherlands. This rare pocket-sized volume represents the second part of a four-volume festival set. The book includes liturgy for Passover (with Haggadah), Shavuot, and Sukkot. Printed in Hebrew, the volume is bound in an early leather binding with gilt decorative tooling. The spine has been sensitively restored using portions of the original, and the binding retains its period character. A second title page appears mid-volume, consistent with early printing conventions for divided liturgical sections. Condition is good with light staining and age toning throughout.
