The box is of cylindrical form with an ornate molded exterior and a domed hinged lid fitted with a narrow coin slot for secure donations. The surface is decorated with floral and geometric relief patterns, and the handle is formed in an elegant scrolled design. Hebrew inscriptions are visible on the lid, identifying its communal and religious function. Opening the hinged top reveals the interior, which shows age-appropriate wear consistent with extended use.
