Superb Greek Gnathian Prochous Ware ca. 4th Century B.C. A striking vessel with bulbous body and tapered neck, the spout decorated with masks, the arching handle taller than the spout. The piece is vividly detailed in white on black background with geometric designs complimented by grapes and palmettes. 8" tall.
