Roman Glass: Two (2) Roman Glass Beakers in Translucent Pale Green Glass ca. 2nd-3rd Century A.D. Two fine examples of ancient Roman glass in translucent green pale glass.
1.) Fine footed beaker with flared glass rim 3 x 4½" and in superior condition, with areas of residue still present.
2.) Very thin glass beaker, truly a miracle of survival. Wisps of iridescence surround the walls as well as sediment residue. We note an exceptionally well done area of restoration, in total the size of a 50 cent piece. Given the thinness of the glass, the repair work is phenomenal. 2½ x 3¼"
