Presentation Model of the Gemini Capsule by McDonnel Douglas in St. Louis as Indicated by The Gateway Arch, a Sensation for the City at the Time. Popular model issued by McDonnell Douglas which had manufacturing facilities in St. Louis 1978 to about 2000. Top NASA scientists, engineers, executives and the like were given these wonderfully designed models. They have now become collectors items. The issue is the capsule was affixed to the stand with only a very thin lucite rod which broke easily. It appears sometime this was an issue with Mr. Hohmann and installed a metal rod instead. Goldberg Auction has had several of the capsule model in the past, but this is a first to include the stand. 7 x 6 x 11". Lucite rod support replaced as described. Estimated Value $900 - 1,200
