Andrew Jackson Patent Signed as President, 1835. Superb example of a Letters Patent signed by Andrew Jackson complete with illustrations. Asbury Dickins signs as acting Secretary of State who also served as Secretary of the Senate. Vellum is in fine condition, the paper seal and ribbons intact, and Jackson's signature large and bold. The illustrations for the mortising machine (wood working) are included, however split at folds basically because of the center fold of the patent. 15 x 11.25". Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,200
