Eranst Baptiste Léveillé Glass Vase With Thick Gilt Enamel Thistles. After much research, it appears strongly this was made by Earnst Léveillé in collaboration with Eugene Rousseau in Paris, circa 1900; Spectacular ruffled and folded lip heavily decorated with thick gilt gold foliate work which on inspection are thistles not holly. But this vase has an unmistakable Christmas Holiday feel and it is a knockout. The clear glass with the red and white splatter glass is classic Léveillé and true to form, unsigned. 6 x 7.5 x 8.5" with no chips cracks or repairs. A galvanizing piece of early French glass. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $500 - 900 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
