Important, Large Daum Nancy Vase in 3 Layers Acid Etched and Handpainted Flowers. A remarkable example of Daum Nancy's extraordinary craftsmanship created by acid etching through three layers to create the of what appears to be a stand of martagan lilies located in the woodland areas of the French Alps. The base glass with its yellow tones actually layer glass contrast beautifully to the raised lilies and leaves acid etched and painted. There is gold enamel trim (squiggly thin line) just at the very edge of the base and the " J Daum" with the Cross of Lorrain in the same gold enamel.
