Vineland Flint Glass of New Jersey was the name of the glassworks studio in Southern New Jersey founded by the father of Victor Durand. It was a successful enterprise making commercial and scientific glass. In the 20s, Victor realized his dream to create art glass under the name Durand Art Glass. However the studio close in 1931 due to Durand's unexpected death. Offered is stunning example of the artistry Durand brought to market. This vase is conjointly opalescent gold glass combined with a reflecting mirror finish, the perfect foil for the etched foliage and flowers.
