Beautiful Émile Gallé Mold-Blown Cameo Glass Lamp, A Gorgeous Explosion of Cherries Both on Canopy and Body. Exceptional Gallé table lamp mold-blown with two layers of glass overlay. An extravagant work of consummate artistry and quite rare. The canopy is 10.25" across with the lamp and base measuring 15.5" tall. The mold-blown glass technique, whereby molten glass is injection blown into an engraved mold, then built up and cut back in the cameo method, created a much greater sense of relief and depth than the acid-etched and engraved cameo glass the Gallé firm had previously excelled at. Lamp operates perfectly. No chips, cracks or repairs. A significant addition to any collection or museum. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $4,000 - 9,000 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
