Premiere Art Nouveau, Émile Gallé, Mold Blown (Soufflé) Cameo Glass Vase of Exceptional Quality. Exquisite craftsmanship on full display by Émile Gallé ca. 1910. The mold-blown glass technique which Gallé, whereby molten glass is injection blown into an engraved mold, then built up and cut back in the cameo method, created a much greater sense of relief and depth than the acid-etched and engraved cameo glass. Vase stands 11.5" tall and 5" wide near the base. Gallé clearly legible in raised brown letters at the tip of a branch of brown leaves. A stunning museum quality piece that is very highly prized. No chips, cracks or repairs. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $3,000 - 6,000 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
