La Rochère Art Nouveau Cameo Glass Lamp in Fall Colors of Maple Leaves, Seed Pods and Two Song Birds. Beautiful. La Rochère is France's oldest, continuously operating glassworks company for a staggering 550 years. Inspired by artist like Gallé, they too entered into the popular cameo glass production and produced spectacular acid-etched glass. Offered is a beautiful lamp, both the glass shade and lamp base signed Rochére. Note the dark brown glass and reddish tan glass that are boldly etched to create the shade. The base uses far more of the lighter shade as if the leaves are falling. Great work. Also, the arms holding the shade have screw locks on the verso keeping it from being knocked off. Lamp is 17.75" in height, pristine with no chips, cracks or repairs. Light illumination works perfectly. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,500 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
