La Verre Francais was a part of Schneider Glass Works and used the name for their diverse line of elite art glass by Charles Schneider. Sometimes the products were named Charder which is combination of Charles and Schneider. Schneider worked for Gallé and Daum Nancy and set out on his own. He raise the bar on his Art Deco works which came to a halt during WWI. But recovered until the Great Depression. This vase could be considered almost plain but it is beautiful. Its a masterpiece of color and design which proves most appealing. It is elegantly signed at base in black enamel, Le Verre Francais. 12" tall with no chips, cracks or repairs.
