Outstanding French Páte-De-Verre Titeux Dancer Created by A. Walter Amalric for Daum in Nancy, France. A Significant Piece. Highly prized example of pate-de-verre (ground glass paste) which Amalric and Daum excelled. This sculpture is modeled after the famous Greek "Titeux Dancer" (Louvre Museum). Regarding this particular example, the head, shoulder and chest are in nearly-clear frosted glass with the orange-yellow mantle and cloak beginning just at the bust line. Just about perfect. Figure is unsigned but absolutely Daum Nancy standing 8" tall with no chips, cracks or repairs. A must for any collection of early 20th Century Daum Nancy glass. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $1,500 - 3,000 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
