An antique Venetian Murano glass ewer by Salviati (founded in Venice in 1859) represents elite late-19th to early-20th-century Italian glass craftsmanship. These hand-blown decorative pitchers often feature brilliant colored or latticino glass, shimmering gold aventurine (copper fleck) inclusions, and applied glass details like twisted handles or dragon/dolphin motifs. This ewer was purchased from Abell Auction 6/12/97 from the estate of Lana Turner. 13" x 5 x 5", late 1800s with no chips cracks or repairs.
