Steuben Glass: Steuben and T.G. Hawks & Co., Rare Vase in Amber Glass and Light Green Enamel. N 1903, Thomas Hawkes (80 years in business) partnered with Frederick Carder to establish the famous Steuben Glass Works, which later supplied blanks for Hawkes' cutting shop. This vase is one of the many collaborations with Steuben ca. 1920. Ovoid glass blank with amber "stain" top portion of vase but clear glass with light green enamel below with superb Art Deco etched/cut designs 11.5 x 5 x 5" with no chips or cracks.
