Steuben Selenium Red Collection from the Carder Years. Vase, Goblet, Plate and Squat Bowl, Pristine Condition All. Steuben in the 1920's experimented with an intensely red line of glass known as Ruby Red or Selenium Red. This is a "sampler" collection, but most certainly the urn shaped vase is the star. Quilted patterned with red glass threading around the "shoulders" lifts this piece from simply red. No chips, cracks or repairs. Vase is 9 x 5 x 5". The bowl does have interest in that the handles are clear glass which certainly gives the bowl character. The other pieces simple ruby red glass. "Due to the considerable number of art glass lots, shipping may take 2-4 weeks from the date of payment. We thank you for your patience. We want every piece to arrive safely. Local pick up encouraged." Estimated Value $300 - 500 From the Premiere Collection of Lori Nelson, Film and Television Actress.
