Tiffany Studios New York became the leader of elite decorator pieces and celebrated for their Art Nouveau designs and craftsmanship. They are prized all over the world and are represented in museums all across America. However there are treasures in use in homes and offices throughout and they remain as aesthetically winning as when first made. There is simply nothing like the warm glow of Tiffany Studios glass and beautifully matched to their bronze and/or patinated bronze stands. This lamp is a perfect example of their peerless artistry. The greens, pinks and white individual pieces of glass that combine to form the foliage and blossoms contrast beautifully with the smooth glass that form the shade. With shade, the lamp stands 19" tall the base 9 x 9". The glass shade is 16" across and was designed by Clara Driscoll who was head of the Tiffany Studios Women's Glass Cutting Department (aka the Tiffany Girls).
