Personal Group of Letters and Signed Cards by Grace Kelly, Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier. Kelly (1956-1982) Rainier (1923-2005) The following is a collection of letters and cards signed by Grace Kelly, Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier. These pieces came from the estate of Cora Lee, the owner of a bed and breakfast in Roaring Gap, North Carolina where Princess Grace stayed during a visit to the US. Included are in Kelly's hand a morning menu request in pencil on 9.25 x 6.25". Clearly, Kelly enjoyed her stay and friendship with the proprietor having sent to her an autograph postcard signed by Prince Ranier and Princess Grace in brown Flair and a lovely Christmas card again signed by both and dated 1980. Collection also uncovered an original Polaroid photo of Kelly with Cora Lee and possibly her sister. Closing out the collection is a vintage re-strike, limited edition photo (embossed credit) by photographer Frank Worth. From the premiere of Rear Window with Grace Kelly in center, Alfred Hitchcock to her right, and acclaimed fashion designer Oleg Cassini who dressed Kelly in private life and films. 12 x 18" This is a great collection well kept for nearly 50 years.
