Description:

S. Mackrill & Son Beautiful Hunting Knife with Scales made from a Hippo Tooth and Malachite. With the son (at the time) now part of S. Mackrill Custom Knives, it appears he has moved the company to produce more presentation worthy knives as clearly evident in this fine piece. Heavy duty hunting knife, 9" in overall length with a 4.75" blade that is beautifully set apart from most knives with a hippo tooth scale with scrimshaw of two rhinos. The finish with a section of highly polished malachite is inspired. Note also the opposing scale is all malachite which demonstrates a fine accomplished work in overall design. Come with a water buffalo sheath and housed in an imbula wood case. Estimated Value $400 - 700
