"New Agora And Old Sheqel Set of 14 Coins 1980-1985" in Custom Wooden Case. The old sheqel series (9 circulated coins) include denominations like the 1, 5, 10, and 50 Agorot, as well as the 1 Sheqel. The larger values in this specific series featured historic ancient Jewish coin motifs (such as the Lily, Menorah, and Palm Tree) as a tribute to Judean history. Special issues (5 Uncirculated/Commemorative Coins) usually included are higher face-value coins or special Hanukkah/Anniversary releases from the 1980s (e.g., 5, 10, 50, and 100 Sheqalim). The set is sealed so the exact contents will be a surprise. Estimated Value $25 - UP Holyland Sale of the Century.
