Far rarer than the $1 1899 Silver Certificate solid serial numbers, and all but absent from auctions for the past decadeâ€Â¦.this $1 1917 Legal Tender Solid Serial #N999999A should be an exceptional price in The Black Horse Collection auction today. This and N888888A $1 1917 note sure look wonderful paired together.
The only auction history of this note was a notation in the Gengerke census stating it was last sold at auction by Donlon back on 9-9-1977 with no final price noted.
