The art work on this series of Silver Certificates is just stunning. This "8 Million" serial number is quite rare on the $2 1899 denomination. Most of the fancy serial numbers that exist are on $1 1899 Silvers, making this piece quite a find.
The Gengerke census shows this history: Robert Condo 11/7/74 FPL @ $175. Subsequent sale by Bowers & Merena on 8-6-2009 at $2300. We remind you that was almost 14 years ago.
