Nimitz, Chester W. A spectacular, full-length silhouette, 10½ in. tall on 12 x 9 in. card backing, signed, "C.W. Nimitz / Fleet Admiral / U.S. Navy," c. 1945, Very Fine. Executed by noted silhouette artist Beatrix Sherman, who always had her subjects sign the silhouette which she kept for herself. A 3½ x 2½ in. bust of Nimitz, not in uniform, is affixed to the back of the card.
