1804 C-13 R1 Plain 4 without Stems F15. Double Struck with Minor Shift. Ten points sharper but the planchet is covered with extremely fine roughness that's visible only with the aid of a good glass. No verdigris, and the only notable marks are a fine pinscratch in the field behind the head and a dull pinch on the rim just right of the fraction. Frosty chocolate and light olive brown with lighter brown toning in protected areas and darker steel toning on the highpoints. Double struck with a tiny offset to K-9 on both sides. The doubling is clearly visible on the date, profile, and much of LIBERTY with similar doubling on the wreath and fraction. MDS, Manley state 2.0. Davy #04.13.37.
