Hancock"), 2 x 7½ inches, n.p., Dec. 24, 1757. Two lines acknowledging receipt of "Thirty pounds three shillings & two pence in part of within by the Hands of Mr. Joseph Hull." Written on the verso of a partly-printed documented with the name of his wealthy uncle, Thomas Hancock, whose estate John would inherit in 1764. One taped repair on verso, running horizontally between the two lines of text, not affecting Hancock's signature.
