1788 Massachusetts Cent Ryder 7-M Rarity-4+ PCGS graded VF30. Lightly cleaned and retoned frosty dark steel and olive with lighter faded artificial red in the most-protected areas on both sides. No corrosion or verdigris, but there is a shallow planchet void on the CO in COMMON and opposing rim dents at the N in COMMON and H in WEALTH. Sharply struck showing a bold date and strong legends. Early die state showing all the fine grass strands growing up from the mound beneath the Indian.
