(1859) Washington PRO PATRIA Medal in Copper Baker-268A NGC graded MS65 Red & Brown. Lustrous mint red fading to bluish steel with at least a third of the planchet displaying mellowed mint color. The fields are slightly reflective and the strike is sharp. The only notable defect is a tiny speck of carbon in the dentils over the first E in GEORGE. Struck by Lovett in Philadelphia circa 1859. Diameter 31 millimeters.
