1806 C-4 R1 Large Repunched 6 EF40. Rotated Reverse. Sharpness EF45 or slightly better but there are a few shallow, darkly toned planchet voids on the obverse, as struck. These include one at the ear and another on the lower half of the 6. The only contact marks are some very faint hairline scratches on the neck. Glossy chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown and tan toning faded down from mint color in the protected areas. MDS, Manley state 2.0 early. Much of the repunching on the 6 remains visible and the reverse is rotated 45 degrees CW causing strike weakness on the bust tip and top of the wreath.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
