1839 N-12 R4 Booby Head VF25. Sharpness EF45 or slightly better but there are a couple dozen tiny pits scattered over both sides. No verdigris or contact marks. Glossy medium chocolate brown with spots of darker chocolate toning in the field before the face. LDS with a sharp die crack bisecting the obverse. Actually this piece is sharp enough to show that the two cracks never actually meet but parallel each other on the cheek where the first crack (the one through star 4) fades out. You seldom see an example sharp enough to show this feature. A sharp albeit imperfect cent.
