1842 N-2 R1 Small Date MS62. Very attractive lustrous steel brown with bluish steel overtones. Satiny mint frost covers both sides. No spots or stains, and the only marks visible without the aid of a good glass are a shallow planchet void in the dentils over AT in STATES and a thin nick or planchet chip on the rim over the first A in AMERICA. Very nice for the grade, nearly choice. LDS, die state d. Tied for CC#8 in the Grellman census.
