1847 N-6 R1 AU58. Frosty steel brown and olive with traces of mellowed mint color remaining in protected areas, especially on the obverse. Would rate a mint state grade if not for tiny spots of dark olive toning scattered over both sides. The best identifying mark is a tiny vertical nick at the right point of star 9. Rare EDS, die state a, with repunching at the left end of the base of the 4.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
