1826 N-7 R1 MS62+. Very attractive lustrous medium brown with hints of light bluish steel overtone in protected areas. Virtually flawless surfaces. The only marks are some microscopic, barely visible specks of slightly darker toning scattered over the obverse and a shallow nick well hidden in the hair over the B in LIBERTY. LDS with the die clashmarks gone and the rims starting to dish, especially at the top of the reverse. Called MS62 and CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #35921.
Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS66BN (PCGS label included, and it shows the attribution and Naftzger provenance).
