1794 C-4a R3 Small Edge Letters VF20. Sharpness VF35 but there are obvious planchet flaws (voids) extending across the obverse. These defects are mint-made, but they catch your eye. The reverse, however, is smooth and quite attractive. Frosty steel brown and chocolate. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0 late. The swelling at the lowest curl is strong and the die clashmarks are bold. Weight 106.0 grains.
