1794 C-6a R5+ Fair-2. Sharpness G6 but there is a large hole drilled through the top obliterating IBE in LIBERTY and the fraction. As holes through early coppers go, this is a big one. Too bad because otherwise this is a decent example of a very rare variety. Rather glossy steel and olive brown with slightly lighter chocolate toning on the devices. No roughness, just a pair of dull nicks at the bottom of the cap. The date is strong.
Estimated Value $400-UP.
