1806 C-2 R4 Small 6 with Stems. PCGS graded AU-58. Glossy medium brown and chocolate with traces of frosty tan faded down from mint color in some of the protected areas. A few tiny puffs of darker steel brown toning are visible on the lower half of the obverse. There are a few very light contact marks on both sides, including a couple barely visible hairline scratches in the field behind the portrait. MDS, Manley state 2.0. The fields are hard and slightly reflective, and fine die polishing lines remain visible in the fields on the reverse. This is the Manley plate coin for die state 2.0. A beautiful example of the scarce Small 6 with Stems type.
